Working it Out

I told myself my first post would not be a workout that I did, and that I’d have some creative way to let the world know that I was here. But I’m going to be real, the thing I am most excited about right now is the workout I just did. Nothing complicated. I ran easy for 25 minutes weaving my way throughout campus, ending at the track. I cooled down for a bit, and decided to test my speed a bit, so I ran the first “sprint” I’ve run since track in 5th grade. 1 minute and 50 seconds to relive my faster days. I loved every second, and realized towards the end that I wasn’t quite giving my best. I can go faster, and I will on my next try. Total workout was only 30 minutes, but I felt like I got a lot out of those 30 minutes and that’s all it takes!

Either way, if you’re here, you’re reading my first post. PLEASE feel free to reach out with suggestions or comments, I’m brand new to this, and as you’ve probably seen, have pretty much no idea what I’m doing. I do know why I’m here though. I’m here to give you a , some good laughs, and maybe some worthwhile advice. When I started working out more, and working on eating healthier, I turned to a lot of blogs, and it helped! Blogs helped shape a lot of my thoughts, especially in the early days when I didn’t want to go running at 5 am. I also learned a lot about running and nutrition and cool people and some things I would never have thought of.

If you’re interested in learning a little bit more about me, feel free to pop over to the about me page. This site will be under construction for a little while as I learn new things, and get further into the details, so my apologies in advance.
